Hondo Guitars! (and pics of my first guitar ever)

I remember being teased for having a guitar made by Hondo. No, not Honda, but Hondo. They made cheap and weird guitars. By the looks of the photos my Mom sent me, I can guess why I got made fun of. I think it was the braces, or the goofy smile.

Since it was the very first guitar I got, I laughed when a client brought in a Hondo recently. I thought it was awesome. My client's guitar looked like this:

And yeah. The worst part of looking at these pics are the braces. Um, it's really embarrassing but I hope you have a good laugh:

And even more embarrassing, "The Winston Churchill Trio." This was the band that my best friend Steve put together in high school. Yes Yes Yes, there are four of us. Ironic aren't we?

The guitar I am holding? The same one as above but with ten times more stickers. Ahhhh, youth.
